Biography
Samantha Morris currently resides in Southampton, UK. During the day she works as an archaeologist and at night spends her time as a medical blogger at http://talkingbloodsugars.wordpress.com and www.shootuporputup.co.uk.
Her interest in writing began at an early age, whereupon she would write stories about fairies and princes yet she finally realised that her passion lay in history whilst at school. She took to essay writing with a fervour which she took to University, where she studied Archaeology. Her dissertation on the 1644 Battle of Cheriton recieved high accolades from the university and she has been in talks about getting her work published.
As a medical blogger at Talking Blood Glucose, she talks of her experiences with Type 1 diabetes and also reviews various pieces of diabetes kit. At Shoot Up or Put Up, she puts across the lighter side of Insulin Dependancy. However, she will take her hand to writing anything from science to history papers and beyond and thoroughly enjoys researching and writing about a variety of subjects.
Other interests include photography, video gaming, reading, rock music, wine, real ale, battlefield archaeology, and writing short fiction stories.
